Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can control your choices. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage, and scripts that help us run, secure, and improve our services.

2. How we use consent

Where required by law (including the UK / EU GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive), we do not use non-essential cookies or read/write optional storage until you have made a choice through our cookie banner or preferences panel. You can reopen Cookie Settings at any time from the site footer.

3. Categories we use

  • Necessary. Required for core functionality and security (for example load balancing, fraud prevention, remembering your cookie choices). These cannot be disabled through our preference center.
  • Analytics. Helps us understand how visitors use our site in aggregate. Example vendors when enabled: Google Analytics, Hotjar.
  • Marketing. Used to measure campaigns and, where applicable, deliver relevant advertising. Example vendors when enabled: Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Tag Manager (depending on how our container is configured).
  • Preferences. Remembers choices that tailor the experience (for example UI or regional preferences).

4. Google Analytics & Consent Mode

When analytics is enabled, we may load Google Analytics 4 and use Google Consent Mode so Google tags adjust behavior based on your choices. Until you opt in to a category, associated storage types remain denied at default.

5. Retention

Your consent record (including a timestamp and category selections) is stored in your browser with a rolling expiry (currently 180 days). Each time you update preferences, the expiry refreshes. Expired records are discarded and non-essential technologies will remain off until you choose again.

6. California residents (CCPA-style notice)

We do not “sell” personal information in the traditional sense. Some analytics or advertising technologies may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law when enabled. You can use Reject Non-Essential or turn off the Marketing / Analytics toggles in Cookie Settings. For broader privacy rights, see our Privacy Policy.

7. How to control cookies

Use the in-site Cookie Settings link, adjust your browser controls, or use industry opt-out tools where available. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

We value your privacy

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run our site, plus optional analytics, marketing, and preference cookies to improve your experience and measure campaigns. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your choices at any time.

California residents: see our Privacy Policy for information about your rights and choices (CCPA-style disclosures).
